I’m a photography enthusiast who wants to help fellow photographers to find ways to make their photography better.

In this photoblog I share my favorite photo spots, how I found them, and tips and trick that I either learned myself, or discovered on location. I also share interesting resources that go deep and I find interesting and educational myself.

I have always had a penchant for capturing the world around me. It is in the last few years that I decided to purposefully become a better photographer, and also to better leverage the opportunities that the Internet gives photographers today.

I love to travel and I am fortunate enough to have a family that loves traveling, too, and a job that gives me a lot of travel opportunities. My motto is to “always have a camera with you” and never miss an opportunity to capture a moment that I’m whitnessing.

Equipment

I truly believe that it is not the equipment (camera, phone) that makes the picture. It is the photographer who makes the picture. Still, I know from experience that to be able to produce images that truly represent your creative vision, you have to have good control over the tool you are using, and the process of creating the photo. This is how this blog’s name was born - “3x2” is an aspect ratio typical of cameras that give you the necessary level of control (DSLR or recently Mirrorless ILC cameras). In short—my iPhone is for “behind the scenes” shots mostly.

I am a Product Manager working in the software industry. Lucky enough to get access to some of the finest photography tools for post processing!
